BRUSSELS – “Yesterday I had a working dinner with Commissioner Johannes Hahn and Western Balkans leaders on the sidelines of the 73rd United Nations General Assembly”, stated EU High Representative Federica Mogherini.

“It was a good opportunity to discuss recent developments and progress in the region”, she added.

“Our common commitment to helping all Western Balkans partners to take irreversable steps towards European integration is as strong as it has ever been”, emphasised Mogherini.

She explained that the integration process requires continuous work on reforms, as well as stronger and more efficient cooperation.

“We tackled the Prespan Agreement as well as Belgrade-Pristina dialogue; both of these issues are crucial for the region’s progress”, she concluded.
