Shadow report “State of Democracy in Serbia 2018” now available online

Centre for Contemporary Politics, within the project “Civil Society as a Force of Change in Serbia’s EU Accession – CS4EU” conducted by the Belgrade Open School with support from the Kingdom of Sweden, has published a shadow report “State of Democracy in Serbia 2018”. The report covers five areas: elections, parliament, governance, civil society and freedom of expression, in accordance with the Copenhagen criteria for the EU membership and European Commission Reports on candidate countries.

“State of Democracy in Serbia 2018” covers the period from 1 November 2017 to 23 September 2018 and it was originally presented in Belgrade.

This is the second Centre for Contemporary Politics report that tackles the state of democracy in Serbia and/or the region, after the last year’s report “Democracy in Progress”.

The complete report can be found on this link: State of Democracy in Serbia 2018.
