Western Balkans and the Rule of Law: How Close to the EU?

PODGORICA – Balkan Trust for Democracy, in cooperation with Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade, is organising a conference titled “Western Balkans and the Rule of Law: How Close to the EU?” on Thursday, 29 November in Podgorica.

The participants will be welcomed by Gordana Delić, Director of the Balkan Trust for Democracy, while the opening remarks will be delivered by H.E. Mr. Arne Sannes Bjørnstad, Ambassador at the Royal Norwegian Embassy to Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro and Plamena Halacheva, Head of Political, European Integration and Trade Section, EU Delegation to Montenegro.

A discussion titled “The state of play in Chapters 23 and 24” will follow, with the participation of Aleksandar Drljević, Chief Negotiator for EU integration process by Montenegro. It will be moderated by Milica Kovačevič from Montenegrin Center for Democratic Transition.
