Project “Youth and EU” will include one Training Course that will be hosted in Belgrade, Serbia in January 2016 and will gather youth workers from 10 different youth organisations from European Union and Western Balkans. Aim of project is to prepare youth workers and empower involved organisations to debate, discuss and promote EU citizenship, European values, integration, enlargement, active participation of citizens in EU and decision making process within EU.
Participants will be able to run local and international activities with young people concerning this topics and issues. Project will result with innovative approaches to process of participation of citizens in reforms and integration of Western Balkans. Project will incite discussion about rising islamophobia in EU and involvement of European citizens from EU and Western Balkans in radical religion conflicts worldwide. Integration of countries from Western Balkans and Turkey to the EU definitely raises question regarding inter-faith dialogue as never before, and this project will prepare youth workers from all around Europe to address it.
Project will be submitted to EACEA within Erasmus+ Youth (Western Balkans Youth Window) on April 2015 deadline by Center for Contemporary Policy, the EU-RS think tank which successfully manage project European Western Balkans, the most influential portal on European Integration in the Western Balkans.
