BRUSSELS – On 17 February, President Donald Tusk will organise a meeting on the Western Balkans Migration Route. Leaders of Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Slovenia, and Serbia will join President Tusk and President Juncker to discuss the latest developments in the region.
The European Council will look at the implementation of the decisions already taken in response to the migration and refugee crisis. Discussions are expected to focus on humanitarian assistance, external border management, the implementation of the EU-Turkey Action Plan and the operation of hotspots.
