meta_maliSKOPJE – The leader of VMRO-DPMNE Nikola Gruevski confirmed Tuesday that political parties had agreed that local elections will be held on October the 15th, this year, and once again urged for new early parliamentary elections to be held together with the local elections, Meta reports.

“I believe that things will evolve in the right direction, October the 15th was the closest date SDSM could accept in those talks and I hope that VMRO-DPMNE, as thе winning party from the previous and most recent parliamentary elections, will win again, however this time, the local elections. Once again, I appeal to all parties, that we organize parliamentary elections on the same day as the local elections, October the 15th”, said Gruevski, while answering journalists questions during his visit to the Municipality of Kisela Voda.

He said that he hopes this time, SDSM will not make any changes to the election date or find reasons to delay the elections.
