Thaçi discusses Army of Kosovo with Slovenian Minister of Defence

PRISTINA – President of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi hosted Tuesday Minister of Defence of Slovenia, Andreja Katic, President’s Office stated.

Thaçi extended his gratitude to the Minister Katic for ongoing support of Slovenia, whereby he expressed readiness to deepen further a good cooperation between Kosovo and Slovenia.

He has also informed Katic on the regional cooperation of Kosovo.

“We have a good bilateral, political, economic and cultural cooperation with the countries of the region, even with those who have not recognized Kosovo”, Thaçi said.

Thaçi also informed Minister Katic on the transformation of KSF into Armed Forces of Kosovo.

He underlined that the Army of Kosovo will be a professional and multiethnic force, in line with NATO standards, and at the service of all Kosovo citizens.
