[BSF] Dačić, Hellbach discuss Serbia-Germany cooperation

BELGRADE – Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dačić on Thursday met with Christian Hellbach, the German Federal Foreign Office envoy for southeastern Europe, who is attending the Belgrade Security Forum.

They agreed bilateral relations between their countries were good and characterised by cooperation in all areas, intensive high-level dialogue and a constant trend of improvement.

Economic relations are good, with a high volume of trade and major German investments in Serbia, they also said.

Hellbach reiterated Germany’s support for Serbia’s European integration and Berlin’s readiness to actively engage in the process.

They also exchanged views on current regional affairs, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
