EP political groups divide the positions of Rapporteurs for Western Balkan countries

BRUSSELS – According to several EWB sources from Brussels, political groups in the European Parliament have divided the positions of the Rapporteurs for the Western Balkan countries today. Rapporteurs for Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will come from the European People’s Party, while their colleagues for Albania and Montenegro will come from the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats. As in the previous mandate of the European Parliament, Rapporteur for North Macedonia will belong to the Renew Europe group (formerly Alliance of Liberals and Democrats in Europe), while Rapporteur for Kosovo will come from the Greens/EFA.
