BELGRADE – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and French Minister Delegate for Europe Benjamin Haddad extended their congratulations to the Student List following its electoral victory, emphasizing that Germany and France will continue to support Serbia on its path towards European integration.
“The parliamentary elections in Serbia are clearly decided. We congratulate the student list! With its demands for the rule of law, the fight against corruption, and fundamental freedoms, it has reached the people. We will actively support Serbia’s European path”, stated Merz via X post.
Similarly, Haddad saluted “this democratic momentum marked by strong participation.
“France is Serbia’s historic friend and will continue to support it on the European path toward the reunification of our continent”, he stressed.
