PODGORICA – One of the main rules of EU integration is evaluation of success of each country candidate, said chief of Negotiating team of Serbia Tanja Miščević, adding that she does not believe in accession packages, especially in the region.

Commenting on the recent adoption of the strategy for successful accession of Serbia and Montenegro in EU by 2025, Miščević said that “EC recognized that we needed support and that enthusiasm was faltering”.

According to Miščević, EU sees Serbia and Montenegro as two countries that have their own pace. She said that the support of neighbours in the region during the process is of great significance.

“We have great cooperation with our colleagues in Montenegro and I believe we support each other in the integration”, Miščević said.
