Kosovo takes over CEFTA chairmanship

Kosovo, through UNMIK, took over the presidency of CEFTA. This was confirmed by the Kosovo Minister of Trade and Industry Bajram Hasani for RTK. Serbia has previously refused to accept the representation of Kosovo as an equal party within the CEFTA, that is, the Free Trade Agreement in Central Europe, and the province is represented by UNMIK. Hasani said that the strategic goal during the presidency would be to create a regional economic area, according to UNMIK’s announcement.
