BRUSSELS – Presidents of Serbia and Kosovo, Aleksandar Vučić and Hashim Thaçi, are supposed to meet on June 24, at a new round of dialogue in Brussels, Tanjug learns from european diplomatic sources.
As previously confirmed in the European External Action Service, two presidents should discuss reaching a comprehensive agreement on the normalization of relations, while the implementation of already reached agreements will be in the second place of the agenda.
The high-level dialogue between Presidents Aleksandar Vučić and Hashim Thaçi last time was held time on March 23 in Brussels. Comprehensive agreement was then discussed, but the President of Serbia mostly insisted on the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities.
Before the meeting of the two presidents, on Friday and Saturday, another round of technical negotiations should take place. The EU did not want to comment the bilateral EU and Priština delegation’s meeting. Priština has so far refused to continue technical dialogue with Belgrade, conditioning its presence by changing the agenda and focus “from the Community of Serb Municipalities to all unfulfilled agreements, including energy.”
