BRUSSELS – Kosovo Deputy PM Behgjet Pacolli will be visiting Brussels at the end of the week to speak with EU enlargement commissioner Johannes Hahn and foreign policy and security chief Federica Mogherini.
Tanjug’s sources in the European Commission say the meetings would mostly focus on the EU’s relations with Kosovo, visa liberalisation and the dialogue with Belgrade.
Hahn and Mogherini will expect to hear what concrete steps the new Pristina government will take to continue the dialogue with Belgrade and implement reached agreements, in particular the one on establishing the Community of Serb Municipalities, the sources said.
The new government must take an active role in the region and work together with Belgrade towards a qualitative step forward in the EU-facilitated dialogue, European Commission spokesperson Maja Kocijančič said.
