meta_maliSKOPJE – Macedonian political parties need to make the decisions that are made after elections, and from our side there will be no interference in the further course of events, said Austrian Foreign Minister and Chairman of the OSCE for 2017, Sebastian Kurz, who today is visiting the country, “Meta” news agency reported.

He noted that Austria’s interest in Macedonia will continue to be a strong partner and he hoped that the country will implement the necessary reforms and will continue on its path towards European integration.

His host, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Macedonia, Nikola Poposki emphasized that the greatest help that Macedonia can receive from the European Union is to let the will of the people be expressed through seats in parliament, and to let them decide which path the country will take.

Earlier, Poposki and Kurz visited the “Borderstone 59” at the Macedonian-Greek border, near Gevgelija.
