KOPAONIK – Serbia’s chief EU negotiator Tanja Miščević has announced the negotiating position for Chapter 7 in the country’s EU accession talks, which deals with intellectual property, would be established at the next government session on Thursday, Tanjug reports.
One can never say when a chapter will be opened because it requires a joint decision of all 28 EU member states, she told a panel on EU accession talks at the Kopaonik Business Forum.
The negotiations themselves are not the objective – first and foremost, they need to provide an answer to several major challenges we must face amid globalisation and in the environment we are in, in Europe as such, as well as in internal development and reforms, Miscevic said.
